In the 10th world Valheim, you will start your adventures in the Meadows biome. This is the most secure and easy biome to survive. But even the nights in this biome can be dangerous. Valheim: Where to Build First Base?
Even though the world of Valheim is procedurally generated there are a set of rules guarding the rules. All the biomes and the entire map are coded to generate circularly. As you can see in the below map, the Meadows and the Black Forest are concentrated in the center of the map. This is to assist your gameplay in the early gameplay. Further out you will get Swamps in the same circular fashion, then some patches of mountains, and so on. At the extreme north and south you and see some new biomes, Deep North & Ashland. To build your first house in Valheim you need to find an abandoned building near you. They will already have a majority of their structural integrity, so all you need to do is repair and complete the rest of the building by using your hammer.
