Similar to the previous GoW (2018), there’s a plethora of Enchantments you can use in God of War Ragnarok. You can equip them on armor to receive buffs for different stats. You also receive set bonuses when you use Enchantments of the same type in GoW Ragnarok. But several players are unable to find and unlock them. How to Unlock Enchantments in God of War Ragnarok
Before you unlock Enchantments, you need the Amulet of Yggdrasil. These resources are used to store the Enchantments in GoW Ragnarok. While initially, you get only two Enchantment slots, you can upgrade the Amulet fully to store a maximum of Nine Enchantments. You can get the Amulet of Yggdrasil for defeating Nidhogg while progressing through the Reckoning story quest.
Once you have defeated Nidhogg, you get the Amulet of Yggdrasil as a reward. Furthermore, you also get Midgard’s Endurance Enchantment. This Enchantment grants Kratos increased damage for all the ranged attacks within the cooldown period.
As you unlock the ability to use Enchantments, you can obtain different ones to slot them in the Amulet of Yggdrasil. All of the Enchantments offer different buffs within the cooldown period. And there are different ways to get the Enchantments in GoW Ragnarok.
You can defeat certain optional bosses that reward Enchantments as their loot drops. You can also complete different Favours that reward Enchantments. Or you can simply purchase some of the Enchantments from the Huldra Brothers workshop. Alternatively, you can also get some Enchantments from the Rare chests. Furthermore, completing the Nornir Chest Puzzles can also reward you with Enchantments.
