However, it’s extremely difficult to find them in the game. In this guide, we’ll show you how to get Smoldering Embers in God of War Ragnarok.

Where to Find Smoldering Embers in God of War Ragnarok

Smoldering Embers are found on the land of the Burning Ashes – Muspelheim. And to get here is no mean feat. These are the requirements:The Smoldering Embers in God of War Ragnarok

  • The Muspelheim seed – the two halves of this seed can be found at Svartalfheim
  • Draupnir Spear – acquired during the main story

Once you’ve got the above items, you can make your way to the land of the fire giants in God of War Ragnarok. But getting those Smoldering Embers is not as easy as you think. You will have to complete the six Crucible challenges; they are mentioned below:

  • Weapon Mastery
  • Flawless
  • Ring Out
  • Feed the Rift
  • Population Control
  • King of the Hill

The reward for completing these challenges are the Smoldering Embers. However, your performance in these challenges will play a role in the number of Smoldering Embers you can possibly get. There are different tiers, take a look for yourself:Smoldering Embers in GOW Ragnarok

  • Bronze Rating – 20 Smoldering Embers
  • Silver Rating – 35 Smoldering Embers
  • Gold Rating – 50 Smoldering Embers

Once you get enough of these Embers, you will be able to upgrade Kratos’ weapons and take them to bigger boss fights later on.
