God of War Ragnarok is finally here with a plethora of items and resources for the Ghost of Sparta, Kratos to use. Unlike all the previous installments, GoW Ragnarok features Enchantments that can be used for your Armor. But to store these Enchantments, you need to get your hands on the Amulets. How to Max Upgrade your Amulet in God of War Ragnarok
You need to get the Jewels of Yggdrasil to upgrade your Amulet in GoW Ragnarok. In total, there are Nine Enchantment slots that you can store in an Amulet. But for that, you need to fully upgrade the equipped Amulet.
- The Jewels of Yggdrasil resources are the broken Amulet fragments that can help you store additional Enchantments. But the only twist is that these items are a bit rare to find.
- You can get a Jewel of Yggdrasil for defeating a mini-boss, Frost Phantom in Midgard. You will encounter him as you progress through the Main Story quests.
- You can get another Jewel as a loot drop for defeating two Ogres at Svartalfheim in the Forge Area.
- But for the rest, you need to find the Jewels of Yggdrassil across the Nine Realms in chests.
- You can find them from the Legendary Chests along with other resources across the off-beaten paths.
- In addition to that, several optional mini-bosses and bosses can also drop the Jewels of Yggdrasil. So, make sure to upgrade the Leviathan Axe or the Blades of Chaos to slay them all.
If you are wondering about how to upgrade the Amulets after obtaining this item in GoW Ragnarok, follow the below steps:
- Head over to the Blacksmith at any location around the Nine Realms.
- As you interact with the Blacksmith, head to the Armor tab.
- Select the Amulet option and scroll through the Upgrade levels.
- Then, select the level of upgrade you want for the Amulet. Each level of upgrade increases your Enchantment slot.
- It simply costs 1 Jewel of Yggdrassil to upgrade the Amulet for each level. So, you don’t need to worry about spending Hacksilver or any other resources.
