The only known solution to this issue is to do a power cycle. Follow the steps below to do it:

  • Press and hold the power button of your Xbox console.
  • Do this for 10 seconds until the light goes off.
  • Remove the power plug.
  • Wait for 30 seconds.
  • Put the power plug back in.
  • Restart your Xbox console.

By completing the power cycle process on your Xbox, you should be able to fix the unable to get permissions from Xbox Live issue. If this doesn’t solve it, you can simply wait until it is fixed.
