The Genshin Impact 2.4 is here and brings a new expansion to the map. Explore and complete Trials and Quests to get some amazing rewards. The new update brings us to the Enkanomiya region, these lands have a strange mechanic. Even though time flows normally here, the day and night cycle can be altered. This is the Whitenight & Evernight cycle. Changing your in-game time will not affect this cycle. In this guide, I will show you how to switch between Whitenight & Evernight in Genshin Impact: The Day & Night cycle.
How to Switch between Whitenight & Evernight in Genshin Impact
Before we can get to switching the Whitenight & Evernight cycle in Genshin Impact, we will first have to get to & unlock Enkanomiya. To unlock Enkanomiya, you will have to first complete a series of quests from the Moon-Bathed Deep quest & then from the Still Water’s Flow quest. Steps to switch between Day & Night
Once you have unlocked Enkanomiya, you will be granted the Subterranean Trials of Drake and Serpent after opening the Gate of Tokoyo. Here is what you will have to do after that:
- As you are following the Quest markers on the map, you will come across certain Mechanisms.
- Activate them by using your Elemental Skills.
- After that, you will talk to an NPC known as Enjou.
- On your exploration, you will come across more Mechanisms like mentioned above in the form of puzzles.
- To solve the Puzzle for the Golden Bridle, activate the Mechanisms which are at the front and right side of the Library.
- After which you will need to head back and talk to Enjou.
- Once your conversation with him is over, he will tell you to explore ahead. Follow the waypoint to get to Dainichi Mikoshi. This will be a long trek.
- At one point, you will reach the Broken Bridge that leads to Dainichi Mikoshi. Get there and you will see Enjou.
- After talking to him again, the barrier that was blocking Dainichi Mikoshi will disappear.
- Now follow the waypoint to get to Dainichi Mikoshi.
- The waypoint will lead you to a peculiar Mechanism, interact with it.
This is the Mechanism that will switch between Evernight & Whitenight in Genshin Impact. If it is Evernight (Night), interacting with it will make it Whitenight (Day) and vice-versa. The Mechanism looks like a Gyroscope with a glowing object in the middle. If it glowing then it is Whitenight and if it not glowing then it is Evernight in Genshin Impact. Upon interacting with it will trigger a cutscene and then the switch between Day & Night. Similar Mechanisms like this one are scattered across the region.
