The addition of cooking was a big one in Grow a Garden, and it has been included in events ever since. Various NPCs might ask for food items, and figuring out the recipe from scratch can take a long time, since there are a lot of crops in the game. If you’re participating in one such event and need a Cake recipe in Grow a Garden, this guide will help you out. Know the rarities of cake you can create and the ingredients (crops) you need for it.

How to Make Cake in Grow a Garden

  • Normal Cake Recipe
    • 2x Blueberry + 1x Corn + 1x Tomato
  • Rare Cake Recipe
    • 2x Corn + 2x Watermelon
  • Legendary Cake Recipe
    • 2x Banana + 1x Blood Banana + 1x Moon Melon + 1x Soft Sunshine
  • Mythical Cake Recipe
    • 2x Sugar Apple + 2x Corn
  • Divine Cake Recipe
    • 1x Corn + 2x Elder Strawberry + 2x Sugar Apple
  • Prismatic Cake Recipe
    • 1x Banana + 3x Bone Blossom

There may be more combinations since more crops have been added over time, but these are sure to give you cake in GaG.

Note that some of these crops are currently not obtainable because they were limited to certain events. However, if you’re friend has them or another player is willing to trade crops, you can still get them.

Meanwhile, seeds of Corn, Sugar Apple, Blueberry, Tomato and Elder Strawberry are obtainable from Sam’s Seed shop. You just have to be online when they restock so make sure to follow stock trackers online.

Once you have the ingredients, head to the Cooking Kit in your garden and add in the items. Click on ‘Cook’, wait for the duration shown, and collect the food item once it’s done.
