Grow a Garden Spooky Chest Guide

Updated Date :

If you’re playing Grow a Garden, the Spooky Chest is one of the event-exclusive loot packs you’ll want to know about. It is a limited-time chest pack introduced during the Halloween event and this guide will walk you through what it is, what’s included, and whether it’s worth your time.

How to Get the Spooky Chest?

Players can obtain this chest from the Spooky Seeds shop in the Halloween Market that spawns at regular intervals. It costs 30 Candy Corn which is the event currency. When you load into the game, you might see it or there will be a timer that tells you when it will appear next. This chest is also a reward from the Harvest Reaper’s ritual.

Is it worth it?

Short answer: Yes, especially if you’re going for the rare drops and event collectibles.

The Spooky Chest offers access to very rare and limited event items (e.g., Tomb Marmot, Mummy, Wereplant), which give you bragging rights and have special uses. It gives a mix of items, including more common ones, so even if you don’t hit the jackpot, you still get something.

However, the rare drops are very low chance (around 1% for the top tier items). That means you might spend a lot of time or currency without hitting them.

In short, if you’re an event-driven player who loves collecting rare items, the Spooky Chest is well worth chasing. If you’re more focused on regular gameplay and efficient resource use, you might weigh the cost vs. chance more carefully.

That’s all for this one! To know more about the new Lich Crystal, Halloween Gear Box, Harvest Reaper, and Mummy’s Hand, check out our linked guides on Gamer Tweak.
