What is the Harvest Reaper Event in Grow a Garden?

harvest reaper crop requirements

  • The Harvest Reaper will appear on the map at regular intervals (there will be a countdown notifying you), and when you see him, you’ll also see a ring of flames.
  • A few of them have requirements – a Spooky Carrot, a Bloodlit Sugar Apple, a Moonlit Corn, etc.
  • Players need to get those specific crops and submit them at the required flames.
  • You can do so by equipping it to your hand, interacting with the flame by pressing E and clicking on the Submit option.
  • Not all requirements ask for mutations; some might ask for base crops as well.

The reward for doing this ritual was a limited stock of Severed Spine. The description states that the Reaper punishes stealers within a small range. This is a Prismatic crop, multi-harvest and it’s classified as a Sour, Vegetable, Woody, Prickly, Stalky and Spooky type crop.

It has a price floor value of 89,329 Sheckles which is great. Visually, the seed has a pointy purple top and the harvest looks just like the crop’s name. However, the Severed Spine is the first event exclusive seed to have a limited stock of 25,000 globally and became out of stock soon after the event started.

The secondary rewards for doing this task are Spooky Chests, Spooky Eggs, Halloween Gear Boxes and the Summoning Bowl rewards you with Candy Corn. You do get a good amount of Candy Corn that you can farm in order to purchase items from the Halloween Market.
