Shotgun Rail Location In Sons Of The Forest – How To Find

But the shotgun is by far the best and the preferred mode of weapon. And that’s not all, the game also has a plethora of attachments to give your weapon that much-needed bonus. So, if you want to learn how to find the Shotgun rail, then keep reading to know its location.

How to Get the Shotgun Rail in Sons of The Forest

The Shotgun rail can be found on a beach on the northernmost part of the Sons of The Forest map. Once you reach this location, you will be able to see an abandoned campsite with deflated rafts on the shore. At the same spot, you will also see a dead body near two tents and some crates. The shotgun rail will be in the hands of this dead body. Simply walk up to it and press “E” to pull it out.

There is another way to get your hands on the Shotgun Rail in the game. However, this method is more time-consuming and will require you to progress a bit further in the game. Here are some of the things that you will require before getting the attachment:

If you already found the shotgun, you will probably have the Rebreather and Shovel too. But you will have to go on a long search to find the Maintenance Keycard. Once you find the keycard, you will need to head to the location marked in the image below.

You will need to go past two golf carts, enter the gap through the caves and climb the ladder down and then use the Maintenance Keycard on the locked door. Here, you will need to deal with several mutants and wade through water in the corridors to reach the Shotgun Rail on the shelf.
