Everyone has some type of music that they love listening to, but many people want to go a step further. So knowing how to see your Spotify stats can help you out if you are one of them. There is no particular reason behind why you would want to do that, it could be something as simple as bragging among your friends about who is the bigger fan of an artist. Or you might just want to try out different songs based on the music style of your current favorite artists. No matter what the reason may be, if you use Spotify it gives you some control over it. So here is how you can track your Spotify stats both on its website and Mobile.
How to Check Your Spotify Stats
You can see your top tracks and artists from your Profile. While it is a bummer that it doesn’t show you the exact numbers, you can check them during Spotify Wrapped. However, for other days here is what you do:
Tracking Spotify stats on the Desktop app and its Website
- On the main screen, click on your avatar in the top right corner of the screen.
- Next, click on Profile.
- It will now show you your Top Artists and Top Tracks for this month.
These will be ranked based on your listening time.
Check Spotify Stats on Mobile
The mobile app works slightly differently from the website.
- Tap on the Cogwheel icon on the top right corner of the screen. If it doesn’t show, then tap on your profile icon and go to Settings and Privacy.
- Next, scroll down to the Privacy & Social section and toggle on Recently played.
- Finally, go back to your Profile and you can check your Recently played Artists. You can even tap on “See All” to check the entire list.
There are also several third-party sites where you can log in with your Spotify account to get more information on various stats like favorite songs, top artists and more. However, since these sites aren’t official you should always check if they are trustable and only then login to them. It is best to avoid using them if you are unsure of whether they are safe.
