Two of the biggest enemies of Super Earth are bugs and robots. When you start the game, it sort of directs you to the larger side of the map which doesn’t seem to have automatons as such. But when you get the daily mission of having to Kill Scout Striders in Helldivers 2, that is when you will really start looking for them. Where to Find Scout Striders in Helldivers 2?
You can find Scout Striders on the Automatons side of the map. Since they are robots you won’t find them on planets that are infested with bugs. Also, make sure you are playing on at least Medium difficulty or higher in order to encounter them.

What are Scout Striders?
The best way to identify Scout Striders is to think of them as AT-ST Walkers from Star Wars. However, for those who haven’t seen those movies, these are giant two-legged robots or in this case vehicles. However, unlike AT-ST, the Scout Striders have their backs open where you can find a Robot controlling the legs and the guns of the machine.
Now, just knowing the weakness of the Robots in the back isn’t enough. These walkers have bulletproof armor so just shooting them head-on won’t do the trick. Here is how you can defeat them:
How to Beat Scout Striders in Helldivers 2
The best way to kill a Scout Strider is to get behind it and destroy the Robot Pilot. As explained above, they have bulletproof armor, so forward attacks are pretty much meaningless. There is always an option to blow them up. However, if you are playing in a party, then you can ask one person to bait it while the others shoot at its back.
