As of now, there is only one way to counter this issue. So without waiting any longer, scroll down and find out how to fix the Sunface Fragments Not Spawning error.

How to fix the Sunface Fragments not spawning error in Returnal?

How To Fix Returnal Sunface Fragments Not Spawning
You can find the Sunface Fragments across various biomes.

To fix the not spawning issue, you will have to restart the loop you’re in. This is a lengthy process and unfortunately the only one as of now. Returnal doesn’t even have any save points in the game and you will have to complete the loop each time. You can even restart the loop by simply going to the menu in the game and restarting your run.

Although unverified, you can even try this method. Put your PS5 console in rest mode and do not switch it off. Try running in and around the biome a bit and search for the Sunface Fragment again. This might also be able to spawn the Sunface Fragment.

Of course, if you do die in Returnal you will start the loop all over again. However, this will also mean that you lose all your equipment items and weapons as well as weapon proficiency. Although, if you do die after collecting the Sunface Fragment, you can still view the item in your inventory.

This is everything you need to know about how to fix the Sunface Fragments not spawning issue in Returnal. While you are here have a look at how to open the Red Locked doors as well as how to open gates to get chests.
