While hunting down Victims, playing as Leatherface in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre with an overpowered build can be the most intimidating. If you have seen the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) movie, you will easily remember his Chainsaw revving dance. Despite having no face of himself, Leatherface aka Bubba is the face and the star of the franchise or series. And because of that, he is a required family member in all the matches. However, due to his inability to get past tight spaces and low mobility, many players are confused about playing this Slaughter family member. Don’t worry, check out our guide to find out the best tips on how to play Leatherface in TCSM and the best build for Bubba.
How to Play Leatherface in Texas Chainsaw Massacre
As a family member required to play every match, Leatherface spawns and starts hunting from the basement. So, here are the best tips to play Leatherface in Texas Chainsaw Massacre:
Keep Revving your Chainsaw
While Leatherface is the easiest family member to get noticed, use this as an advantage to pressurize victims. Since revving your chainsaw can take some time, don’t wait until you encounter them. Instead, load your chainsaw as soon as you hear the nearby Victims. Whenever they are close, you can directly attack them with your ultimate Maim weapon. If you land a Critical Hit on the victims, you can instantly kill them with the chainsaw. So, rather than trying your luck at stealth, we recommend pressuring your victims with the voice of chainsaw.
Destroy all the Obstacles
Being proficient in destruction and hunting, destroying barriers can make enough space for Bubba to pass through. As the victims can hide or pass through the barbed wires or tight spaces, ensure to destroy those possibilities. But since the Cook can also place traps or turrets to slow down victims, we suggest communicating with your teammates.
Learn Sprinting with the Chainsaw
Even though Leatherface lacks maneuverability, he can sprint by revving the chainsaw pretty fast. But if you press it too long, the chainsaw can be overheated. You can outrun any Victim members once you start chasing them. Be it Connie, Julie, or any other Victims, you can hunt them with ease unless they jump into the basement. While mastering the sprinting as Leatherface can take some time, we suggest practicing it for brutal attacks.
Lock the Doors and Trust your Intel
Starting from the basement, you can lock the doors to reduce their chances of survival. You can prioritize the blue doors since they are the Exit points for the victims. We suggest locking all the potential easy exit points for Victims. Once you know that the victim(s) is hiding in the basement or the house, lock the doors to restrict them from escaping. For that, you must coordinate with friends or teammates and gather intel. If you are notified that the Grandpa is awake, get out of the basement and start loading up your chainsaw. And be ready to take them down.
Power Swing as a Finisher
Although the Power Swing cannot kill the victims in one hit, you can use this overpowered move to eliminate injured Victims. You can use the Power Swing to injure and deal massive damage against the Victims. But once you use this move, Leatherface’s chainsaw can get overheated. So, we recommend using this move wisely to execute them, directly.
Best Leatherface Build in Texas Chainsaw Massacre (TCM)
Aside from the above tips for playing as Leatherface, you also need the right build to cause brutal hits. For that, we recommend upgrading your chainsaw to the maximum. Even though Leatherface is quite overpowered solo, you can also choose some perks to become a team player.
