All About Clash Of Clans Personal Break Timer

Published Date :

COC can be pretty additive for the players. It is frequently updated to replace and add new things, from features to items. And since it is a casual build and battle game available for mobile, it has millions of active players. Anyone who likes such games will easily get addicted to it. Also if you are online all the time others wouldn’t get to attack you. Due to this a few years ago, Personal Break Timer was introduced in Clash of Clans.

The system has gone through a few changes over the years. So players who haven’t played the game for some years might find it confusing. But no need to worry, as this guide explains all you need to know about the PBT system of COC.

The Personal Break Timer or PBT stops players from remaining online indefinitely. The countdown of the timer starts when you come online and ends after you go offline. The break will stay active for 6 minutes. During that time if you don’t get attacked or get attacked but don’t obtain Shield you will receive 30 minutes Village Guard. And if you get Shield then PBT will reset for four hours.

After 30 minutes of receiving the Village Guard, the PBT will again get activated for 6 minutes. Similar to the previous one, you get 30 minutes of Village Guard if not attacked or attacked and don’t get Shield. This process repeats thrice in the game, after which PBT resets to 4 hours. Depending on the current league you might even receive a Village Guard here.

Staying offline for 15 minutes without Guard or Shield and not getting attacked resets PBT. And you can extend your Personal Break Timer by buying a 2-hour Village Guard. This will extend the PBT for 2 more hours. Now if you don’t know how to check the PBT, simply go in the info and find it there.

Hopefully, this helped you understand what the Clash of Clans Personal Break Timer system is and how to avoid it.
