Last Of Us Part 2 PC Release Date: Is TLOU2 Coming To PC?

Published Date :

Earlier, PlayStation exclusives were quite literally meant for Sony’s gaming consoles only. However, that recently changed with the arrival of PC ports for many PlayStation exclusives. Games like God of War, Spider-Man, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Days Gone were able to make the cut. The cherry on the cake, however, was the introduction of The Last of Us Part 1 on PC – one of the most loved video games of all time. This made many fans wonder whether its sequel would arrive on PC too. This article will clear up all the rumors and speculations that you have in mind. Here is all the info known about the release date for the PC port of The Last of Us Part 2.

The Last of Us Part 2 PC Port Release Date

We estimate The Last of Us Part 2 PC port to arrive in late 2024. However, Naughty Dog and Sony have remained tight-lipped about the introduction of the 2020 game on PC. Nevertheless, we still have good reason to believe that TLOU2 will indeed be introduced to the PC in the future.

In the recent past, Sony has kept a good track record of introducing their exclusive AAA titles to PC. With that being said, The Last of Us Part 1’s launch on PC surely did not go as planned. Naughty Dog received lots of flak as TLOU Part 1 was filled with several bugs, lags, and crashes. But in spite of that, there was no impact on the sales whatsoever. Sony recently announced that the PC port for The Last of Us Part 1 generated $15.5 million in revenue as of April 23, 2023. It was an impressive achievement considering that it had hardly been a month since the game was released.

Even though TLOU Part 1 had a rocky start, Sony will continue to ride the profit wave until the hype dies down. All thanks to The Last of Us series on HBO, Naughty Dog is witnessing a surge in the popularity of its TLOU franchise. So, it is safe to say that we won’t see The Last of Us Part 2 arriving on PC until next year. The sequel is known for its impeccable graphics, gripping story, and combat mechanics which are out of this world. If you don’t own a PS4 or PS5, then you’ll have no choice but to wait until next year when the PC port for The Last of Us Part 2 comes out.
