Being one of the most hyped games of this month, Hogwarts Legacy promises an enchanting and magical journey around the wizarding world. With the 72-hour early access going live soon, several players are wondering about several features. One of these includes the New Game Plus or the NG+ mode. This mode allows you to continue progressing even after completing all the story quests. But is this mode available? And will it allow you to carry the progress from the base game? Does Hogwarts Legacy have a New Game Plus Mode (NG+)
Unfortunately, there is no word about the New Game Plus Mode from Avalanche Studios as of now. Based on the early reviews and reception, the game does not have the NG+ mode currently. Nevertheless, the developers can add the New Game Plus mode with coming updates. Similar to God of War Ragnarok or Callisto Protol, Hogwarts Legacy could receive this mode sometime later after the game is released.
But until then, we will have to wait for Avalanche Studios to announce this mode. If that happens, we will make sure to update this guide.
Why should Hogwarts Legacy get an NG+?
There are many reasons for the Hogwarts Legacy to have the New Game Plus mode after game completion. As there are several spells or curses like Avada Kedavra that can be unlocked by completing the Relationship quests, NG+ could be a great addition. You can explore the wizarding world around the magical corridors of Hogwarts school. With the Sorting hat and the Common room system, the NG+ mode will fit right with the game.
This can offer a fresh approach to this immersive gameplay and allow players to discover hidden items. From a different approach, the NG+ mode could also offer a narrative depending on your house. And that could be more insight into the lore of every house in Hogwarts Legacy. However, it is more likely that you will require multiple playthroughs to explore the hidden items or areas.
