Hogwarts Legacy features a plethora of spells and gameplay mechanics for the players to unlock. As you progress along the enchanting Wizarding world, you will create or conjure different items in the Room of Requirement. Like every perfect place, you would want to customize it by moving, rotating, or removing additional furniture items. So, can you simply use Wingardium Leviosa to move the items around? Unfortunately, the answer to that question is No. But you can indeed customize the setting of the room through another method. Check out our guide on how to move, rotate, and remove furniture in Hogwarts Legacy to find out.
How to Move, Rotate & Delete Furniture in Hogwarts Legacy
You can move, rotate, and remove the furniture by learning and using one of the three spells in the Room of Requirement in Hogwarts Legacy. But before that, you have to unlock the Room of Requirement. You have to complete the Tomes and Tribulations quest to unlock the Room of Requirement. This quest involves accidentally finding the Room of Requirement while finding Professor Weasley in the Astronomy Tower.
Once you have completed the Tomes of Tribulations quest, you need to complete the Room of Requirement quest to learn three spells. These are the Evanesco, Conjuration, and Altering spells. While conjuring involves creating furniture using Moonstones, the other two can help you customize the setting of the Room.
You can use the Altering spell to move, change the color, and size, and transfigure the furniture items. Now, speaking of removing these items, you can use the Evanesco spell. Using this spell, you can destroy your required piece of furniture. This would reward you a certain amount of Moonstones in return for the removed furniture.
So, in a nutshell, you can use the Altering and Evanesco spell to move, rotate, and remove the furniture items in Hogwarts Legacy. But why not the spell Wingardium Levioisa? That’s because you can use Wingardium Leviosa only to levitate small items or objects. So, you must use the Altering spell rather than Wingardium Leviosa to move the oversized Furniture items in the Room of Requirement.
