This emote first appeared in 2011 on 4Chan. But later, it was uploaded on the BTTV extension in 2016. The original MonkaS was uploaded by a Twitch user called MonkaSenpai. Apart from this, there are other versions like the MonkaMega, MonkaGIGA, MonkaThink, and more.

Going back to the origin of all the variations, Pepe the Frog is a popular character from the comic “Boy’s Club”. In this comic by Matt Furie, Pepe is a chill frog who likes to hang out with his friends. He has some iconic lines like “Feels Good Man”, which was picked up by Twitch users to react to whatever was happening in the stream. Over time, variations like MonkaS were released, which are still used by players today.
