Is There A Mimic Enemy In Lethal Company? – Answered

Updated Date :

A Mimic Enemy might be the perfect addition that you need to the roster of creatures in Lethal Company. Although we have been through a few horror games, Lethal Company provides an entirely new approach to the genre and probably deserves to be one of the best horror games in recent times. However, it does have its straightforward element and there is no sort of confusing element and enter, a mimic.

Mimics would be the perfect creatures to have indoors and they could lure players by acting as one of their crewmates. Although it is an unrealistic expectation considering that there is only one developer, we can at least hope for something when the early access is over and the full game releases.

Should Lethal Company Add a Mimic Enemy to Bestiary?

With a Mimic Enemy, players could find themselves in some form of confusion that could lead to chaos, anarchy, and maybe an untimely demise for your crew. Imagine, your crew member separates from you while you are in some moon, and suddenly, he appears from the dark, the same voice, features, and appearance. However, it’s not the crew member but a mimic who can prove dangerous for you and other teammates.

Along with the appearance, there should be a feature where everything that the crewmate speaks in the vicinity of the creature (probably a small area to make it fun), is recorded and hence used by the Mimic. The only person who can find out if it’s a mimic is the person on the Terminal. The mimic would have some different kind of icon that only activates once it is impersonating a crew mate, almost like Among Us. Sounds like an exciting game mechanic that can be added to the game going forward.

Since the game is bound to get updates (as promised by the devs) this could be an amazing addition that the developer gifts to the fans of the game.

Lethal Company already has some of the best mods and it wouldn’t really be surprising if such a mod is created.
