Diablo 4: What Is The Max Level & Paragon Points Cap?

Published Date :

No matter if you are already playing Diablo 4 or are about to start, it is natural to be curious about the game’s max level, paragon points, and skill points cap. While levels are easy you increase it by gaining Exp as you progress. The game doesn’t introduce Paragon Points right away. And with things like Renown Points, you will need to do additional things to reach their highest levels. But worry not these systems are fairly easy to understand and here is the maximum level and cap for these points.

What is the Max Level in Diablo 4?

Diablo 4 Max Level and Paragon & Skill Cap Explained

The max level in Diablo 4 is level 100. You can reach this level roughly after playing for 70 to 90 hours. But you will need to do a lot of Endgame activities and you won’t be reaching this level by simply completing the game’s story. The main campaign should take an average player around 35 hours to complete. This is an estimated number because some players might explore a bit, do a few side quests, tackle World Bosses, and more during their playthrough.

What Should Your Level be at the End of Game’s Campaign?

By the time you complete the campaign, you can safely assume your character will be anywhere above level 40. Do remember a major factor here is the World Tier you play on. Tier 2 is slightly harder than Tier 1 but rewards you with more Exp and better drops. But that also means you will complete World Tier 1 a lot faster because it will be slightly easier. So your completion time and level will change when you complete the campaign considering these factors.

Max Skill Points in Diablo 4

Diablo 4 Max Skill Points

You can have a maximum of 58 Skill Points in Diablo 4. The game gives you 1 Skill Point each time you level up to level 49. So this gives you 48 Skill points. For the next 10 Skill Points, you need to reach Tier 3 Renown for each region. Collecting 800 Renown Points for one region gives you 2 bonus Skill points.

Paragon Points Cap in Diablo 4

The maximum cap for Paragon Points in Diablo 4 is 220. You first need to unlock the Paragon Board in order to start earning these points. Luckily, there is no side quest needed for it you just need to level up to level 50. So while you are progressing the campaign and with the help of a few Endgame tasks you should reach this level quite easily.

And similar to unlocking the Paragon Board, earning its points also requires you to level up. Each time you reach 25% of a level after level 50, you will get 1 Paragon Point. So for reaching level 51, you will get 4 Paragon Points. Thus by the end of the next 50 levels, you should have 200 Paragon Points.

Now for the remaining 20 Paragon points, you have to reach the Tier 5 Renown for each region. You can do that by collecting 1500 Renown Points in each of them to get 150,000 Gold & 4 Paragon Points per region. Giving you your last 20 Paragon Points.

That’s all for this guide on the Max Level and Cap for Skill Points and Paragon Points in Diablo 4. While you make your way to complete the campaign be sure to get Coiling Ward and Abstruse Sigil. These Crafting Materials will be useful in higher World Tiers. And for other help on this game check out our Diablo 4 section.
