Myling is the most active and audible ghost in the game. They go completely silent when hunting their prey. It is possible that you might get attacked by them without even realizing if it was a Myling or any other ghost. Here’s what you should keep in mind while identifying a Myling:
- When the Mylings aren’t hunting, they make noises back to back. It is possible to track these voices using a Paramic. If you are hearing paranormal voices back to back in a minute, then it is possibly a Myling that you are dealing with.
- It is possible to hear the footsteps of ghosts within a 20-meter range. However, the audibility of hearing Myling’s footsteps is cut down to a 9-meter range. Also, the ghosts begin to disrupt the equipment after coming in a 10-meter range.
- Another way to test the presence of a Myling is by hiding in a secret place. Throw a flashlight to a spot where it is visible to your eyes. When the flashlight starts to flicker just before you hear the footsteps, then it’s a Myling heading towards you. However, if the footsteps are audible and the flashlight flicker after a few seconds, then it is some other ghost.
