There are 10 ghost types in this game and you have to get to your final conclusion based on your evidence. To find where the ghost is residing in the building, you have to know the “ghost room” in Phasmophobia. It is the place where it will linger around. Here’s what your team can do:

Get every person on the team to bring along an EMF reader and sound sensor. You can also get a thermometer to detect a drop in temperature.

Every member needs to visit different areas of the building and check the EMF reading and temperature there.

Put the sound sensor in your way to catch any ghostly sounds.

Don’t forget to use flashlights in the dark while searching for the Ghost Room.

With observations from every room, you will be able to understand which room has the highest activity. In case this is not giving you the desired results, you can get someone to go to the truck and observe the information relayed by the sound sensors.

To narrow down your search even further, use salt to catch footprints but it won’t work for a Wraith. Instead, the Wraith will have a reaction to it and it will have higher ghost activity after that. Another thing you need to remember about Wraiths is that they can change their room and move around which makes them tough to target.

If you think you have a room with high suspected activity (with a high level on the EMF reader) then you may have located the Ghost Room in Phasmophobia. You can also place a video camera in the specific room to see any Ghost Orbs. Make sure that you find it before you lose your sanity in the game and before the ghost begins its hunting phase.
