How to feed Chickens in Stardew Valley?

    Stardew Valley Chicken Farming Guide

Stardew Valley is a simulation role-playing game developed by Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone. Farm Animals are an important resource in Stardew Valley that can be used to trade as well as provide beneficial resources that help you progress in the game. One such animal is the Chicken. As with any real-life animals, you need to feed them to keep them alive. Here is a simple trick on how to feed chickens in the game.

The first logical step is obviously to procure chickens. Now, this is a two-part process. First, you need to visit Robin at the Carpenter’s Shop in the north part of the town. She will help you build a Chicken Coop which you can upgrade later to increase the number of chickens you can store.

Second, you visit Marnie’s ranch and purchase chickens from her or you can place eggs in an incubator. There are three types of chicken that are differentiated on the basis of their color; white, brown, and blue. The chickens have to be assigned to the coop and you can even name them. Maybe, one can be called T-Rex?

Chickens have a diet of only hay or grass. Hay can be obtained by cutting the grass on your farm or by purchasing it from Marnie. Each chicken requires its own bale of hay. You can find the hay on the top left corner of the Coop and you can place it in the feeding tray. You can even have Robin build you a silo so you can store the hay. Deluxe coops do not require manual input as they have an automatic feeding system.

You can do a lot of interesting things in Stardrew Valley if you are done with feeding chickens. For example, you can get a Dinosaur Egg or Make And Sell Wine in the game.

Decided to become a writer because he started getting good at writing Instagram captions for his friends. Would be better at playing the games he reviews if he didn't spend so much time looking at shoes.
