The Skeletal Serpent is one of the hardest and rarest catches in all of Fisch. Classified as an Apex-tier fish, it only appears during a specific in-game event, and if you’re aiming for a tough and rare catch, you need this in your bestiary. How to Make the Skeletal Serpent Spawn
Unlike the usual rare fish, the Skeletal Serpent isn’t tied to a location, season, time of day, or bait. Instead, it only appears during a very specific world event called the Atomic Nuke. When that event triggers, the surrounding area becomes the only place where the Skeletal Serpent has a chance to appear. Even then, the spawn rate is very small (around 0.05%), making it one of the lowest natural spawn chances and so, having it definitely gives players bragging rights.
There are no bait, weather, or time requirements, so the event is the only trigger you need to focus on. If you’ve hooked the creature, you will see a green exclamation mark above your character’s head.
The Atomic Nukes you need for this are extremely rare. You have a 1 in 75,000 chance to get one while fishing, or a slightly better 1 in 50,000 chance if you’re using the Scavenger enchantment. You can also buy an Atomic Nuke from the Black Market for 10,000,000 C$.
These are the reasons why a nuke event can get triggered:

How to Catch the Skeletal Serpent in Fisch
Catching it is even harder than making it spawn. Here’s what to expect:
Reduced Catch Speed
When hooked, the Skeletal Serpent drastically slows the locked progress bar. The reduction is a lot – around 97% slower than normal. This means even with strong gear, the catch takes much longer and requires careful, consistent control. So prepare for a long and tough battle. This fish is also Passive Blocked and has Resilience of -100.
1. Stay Active During the Event
As soon as the Atomic Nuke event triggers, quickly head to the area because the spawn window is limited.
2. Bring Your Best Rod
High-tier rods make the slow catch process much more manageable.
3. Expect Many Attempts
Since the spawn rate is about 0.05%, you might go through multiple events without ever seeing it. This grind is all about patience and persistence.
4. Stick to Safe Ground
During the event, make sure to stay in a stable fishing position because it helps you avoid interruptions while completing the long reeling-in minigame.
Completing your bestiary with the Skeletal Serpent almost works like a badge of honor – only the most dedicated Fisch players can achieve it. Plus, it’s a great catch in terms of value as well as rarity.
