Hoarding Bug in Lethal Company is one of the strangest entities that you will ever come across inside facilities while scavenging for scraps. While these bugs are not hostile and will leave you alone all the time, their strange ability to stockpile the items they get and make a nest around them is what makes them so strange. They will go on to protect these items up until someone tries to steal or attack them in the game.
Since meeting the requirements and quota of the Company is of utmost importance, one might wonder if you can steal the items from the Hoarding Bug in Lethal Company. And while the answer is yes, these bugs are extremely territorial and will attack you dealing damage.
Not to mention, they can be sometimes found in hives which makes them even more dangerous. They are also some of the most common creatures you will come across. So if you want to know the best ways and strategies you can use to deal with them, then here is a guide you should check out further.
How to Beat Hoarding Bug in Lethal Company
The best way to deal with Hoarding Bug in Lethal Company would be to attack it when it’s not hostile around you. As mentioned before, the bug will get hostile if you try to steal whatever item it’s stockpiling in the game. So to avoid being attacked first and have the upper hand, you will have to attack it first with the help of either a Shovel or a Stop Sign. Around 3-4 hits from the melee would be enough to kill them and steal the items.
We would recommend not to attack any of them when they are in hives as it might be dangerous to take on three bugs at a time.
For players looking to avoid tackling the Hoarding Bug overall, you will be able to just go past them as they are mostly neutral. However, if something triggers them to attack you, simply run away from them and try not to attack them without proper weapons.
While the bug will be faster than you, you will be able to avoid certain death while running away.
In situations where they catch up to you or start attacking you, simply drop every item in your inventory in the game. This will make them non-hostile again and the bug will simply select one of the items lying around for itself. It will give you some time to run away or steal the item from the creature in Lethal Company.
Since each scrap is important to reach the quota, we would suggest you have the Shovel or Stop Sign at your disposal in the game.
