How to Hide in Haystacks and Dumpsters in Fortnite Chapter 2
Stealth is a very important aspect in Fortnite as long as you are undetected you can stay away from being hurt. This new hiding feature comes in handy if you are trying to escape a fight or just waiting to surprise an opponent.
To hide in a haystack or dumpster, you simply have to press the button prompt that appears on the screen. On the PS4 you will need to press Square and on the Xbox One, you will need to press X.
Hold the button down and before you know it, your character will be safely hidden inside, with the perfect cover. You need to press the same button to leave the cover if and when you want to.
Though this may seem like a perfect cover, this does not, however, provide any protection and enemies can destroy this while you inside so make sure that you know where your enemies are at all times.
