How to Beat Gremishkas in Baldur’s Gate 3
You can fight and beat the Gremishkas in BG3 by dealing physical attacks with your best weapons. While fighting them, maintain a distance as they can disappear randomly. If you let Volo extract the parasite, you can gain a permanent buff that allows you to see invisible creatures through the Ersatz eye. Since the Gremishkas can turn invisible during or at the start of the fight, you can also cast some spells to make them visible.
They are as follows:
- Third Eye: See Invisibility
- See Invisibility
- Faerie Fire (Level 1 Warlock spell)
But if you don’t want to rely on magic spells, here are some ways to deal with Gremishkas in Baldur’s Gate 3:
Keep Distance & Don’t Cast Magic Spells
While fighting with Gremishkas in BG3, it’s best to maintain a distance. If you cast a spell or cantrip against them, they can transform or polymorph into a feline Panther. So, we recommend not casting any close-range magic spells to deal damage to them. Instead, you can use physical or weapon attacks to damage them. For the players with a Wizard build, you can use long-ranged spells against Gremishkas to take them down.
AoE Attacks
You can also use AoE attacks to turn Gremishkas visible. But when you fight these creatures, it is crucial to know their position. Even though they can turn invisible, you can use AoE spells or attacks to reveal them. If you are out of spells, you can also use the AoE arrow to damage Gremishkas.
Using the See Invisibility Potion/Scroll/Action
Lastly, you can use the Potion of See Invisibility to reveal Gremishkas in BG3. You can find this potion outside of the Lorakkan’s tower inside a backpack. But if you can’t find it, buy a Magic scroll of See Invisility from Rolan near the Tower. Alternatively, you can cast the level 3 magical spell of See Invisibility with Gale. If you didn’t learn this spell, you can also respec Gale at level 3 to equip this spell.
How to Craft & Use Wizardsbane Oil
If you manage to get a Gremishka Tail in Baldur’s Gate 3, you can use it to unlock the Wizardsbane Oil recipe. For that, you must extract the Gremishka Tail.
You can craft the Wizardsbane Oil using the following items:
- The Essence of Gremishka Tail + Any Preferred Suspension
You can use the Wizardsbane Oil to weaken the spell rolls of your enemies by coating your weapon with it. The targeted enemies receive a -3 penalty on Spell Attack Rolls and Spell Save DC with a disadvantage on Saving Throws for maintaining concentration for two turns.
