Tower Of Fantasy Weapon Batteries: How To Get & Use

Published Date :

Tower of Fantasy is a gacha-stylized MMORPG with a blend of anime and sci-fi adventure. There’s a wide range of resources and upgrade materials throughout the planet of Aida. One of these materials includes Weapon batteries. And you need to get your hands on these materials to upgrade your equipped Simulacra. But with different rarities, getting these resources can be a bit of a task. So, here’s our guide on how to get the Weapon batteries in Tower of Fantasy.

How to Get Weapon Batteries in Tower of Fantasy

There are four rarities to the Weapon batteries in TOF. The higher its rarity, the more challenging it can be to find them. So, here’s how to get the different rarities of Weapon batteries:

Weapon Battery I

This type of weapon battery is a much more common to find out of all. You can get the Weapon Battery I through the blue password chests. These chests are scattered throughout the open world. And there are three rarities of the Password Chests. You can check out our guide on how to open Password Chests for more insight. Another way to get this type of Battery is by claiming the Omnium Beacon rewards. These batteries can upgrade your weapons with 20 EXP.

Weapon Battery II

These batteries are uncommon resources that offer 75 EXP for your Simulacra. You can get the Weapon Batteries II from the Standard Banner pulls. As you can pull 10 cards from the Standard Banner, you can get around 3-4 Batteries. You can also get them by completing different Ruin dungeons and selected Adventure activities. In addition to these methods, you can also get the Weapon Battery II by opening the Type II password chests (purple). Other ways to get these resources are Mia’s kitchen rewards and Points Store.

Weapon Battery III

Weapon Batteries III is a rare type of resource that grants 250 EXP to your weapons. You can get these batteries by completing the Bounty Missions. But as their rewards are RNG based, you can also purchase them for 2 Black Gold at the Weapons store. You can also convert the duplicate Blue weapons that you find from the Standard pulls.

Weapon Battery IV

These resources are much harder to find than all the weapon batteries. It is a type of super rare resource. But getting them can grant a hefty 1000 EXP for your weapons. You can get these batteries by progressing through the story. Alternatively, you can buy the Weapon batteries IV at the shop under Wanderer’s Supplies section.

How to Use Weapon Batteries in TOF

As mentioned, weapon batteries can be used to upgrade your selected Simulacrum. But the higher the rarity of your weapons, the more EXP it will require to upgrade them. So, rather than using these resources to upgrade a low-tier weapon, we suggest saving them up. Here’s how to use weapon batteries to upgrade your weapons:

  • Head over to the Main Menu and select the Weapons option.
  • Then, select the weapon you want to upgrade.
  • Hit the Upgrade button and use the weapon battery to boost their stats.
