With Season 4, items have been overhauled, as such players want to get Greater Affixes in Diablo 4. For a quick overview of what Greater Affixes are about, they guarantee the maximum roll of a regular Affix that will have a 1.5x multiplier. In case you just started the game this season, you can think of Affixes as modifiers added to your weapons, armor, or gear that enhance certain stats. How to Get Greater Affixes in Diablo 4
You can get Greater Affixes on Legendary and Unique Items. As such you cannot find them on lower World Tiers. Make sure you play on at least World Tier 3 (Nightmare) difficulty. But ideally, to increase your chances of finding them more you should be playing on World Tier 4 (Torment). Your best chances of finding these items as drops are from:
- Nightmare Dungeons: Make sure you play on Tier 46 or above Dungeons to increase your chances of getting Greater Affixes.
- Helltide Events: When participating in Helltide events you should try collecting Baneful Hearts this will let you summon Blood Maiden. Defeat her and you have a pretty good chance of getting items with Greater Affixes.
- Beat Uber Bosses: Uber Bosses are your best sources of getting Unique item drops.
- Whispering Cache: Lastly, you can also complete Whisper objectives to have a chance of getting Legendary items from these caches.
Make sure you pay attention to the sound when such an item drops as it will be different to indicate these are Greater Affixes. You can also notice the item will have a star-like icon to the right.
