The Skull Key can be found on the 120th Floor of The Mines. However, getting to this level will be extremely difficult as this is the last floor of The Mines. Make sure you carry all the items that will help you restore your health. It is important to note that these Floors will be filled with tons of dangerous enemies and you will have to defeat them in order to move forward.

How to Use the Skull Key?

Once you have obtained the Skull Key from The Mines, you will be able to unlock the Skull Cavern in SDV. This is located in the northwest area of the Desert. Although many players believe that this area is similar to The Mines, in reality, the Skull Cavern is even more dangerous.

Similarly, the enemies you face here will be twice as dangerous and the treasures you unlock here will be twice as rare. Here, players will also be able to farm Iridium Ore, which is an exotic resource consisting of special properties.

Additionally, once you get the Skull Key, you will also obtain Junimo Kart, which is an arcade game located in the Stardrop Saloon.

That’s all you need to know about getting and using the Skull Key in Stardew Valley. If you are looking for more informational guides, browse through our list of all the new items added during the 1.6 update and learn how to get Text Sign, Tent Kit, and Heavy Furnace.
