The amount of Star Glitter you receive depends on the rarity and the number of time you are getting a duplicate character. For instance, a 4-star duplicate will give 2 Star Glitters and getting it for the eighth time will get you 5 Star Glitters. Similarly, a 5 star Tier S duplicate will give 10 and getting it for the eighth time will get 25 Masterless Star Glitters in Genshin Impact.
