Follow Recoil is a Crosshair Setting in Counter Strike 2 made for players who want to improve their aiming. You may have noticed that most times, the position of your crosshair and the location where your bullets hit are different. This happens due to a weapon’s high recoil which makes it difficult to aim. It is a part of the realism factor that the developers want to provide you. But for those who don’t want to miss a single shot, CS2’s Follow Recoil feature is for you. Scroll down below to learn more about it.
What is CS2 Follow Recoil Setting & How it Works
When Follow Recoil is enabled, your crosshair will move in the exact same direction as your bullet. This will keep you from getting confused between the position of your crosshair and bullets. For some, the Follow Recoil feature is a helping hand in Counter Strike 2. And for others, it is nothing but a crosshair option that shakes annoyingly on the screen while spraying bullets. But in reality, should you enable it?
Should I Enable Follow Recoil in CS2?
To be honest, I don’t vibe much with this crosshair setting. I have been playing FPS games for a while now and have found my way of controlling recoil in games like Valorant and CS2. But if you are a rookie and want to connect every bullet in your magazine, then you should try out the Follow Recoil setting. The only downside is that you will have to bear with the annoying movements of your crosshair during the practice periods. Once you get used to it, then it will be a piece of cake.
If you ask me, there’s no harm in trying out Follow Recoil in CS2. You can always disable it if you don’t find it helpful.
