Closing and relaunching Diablo 4 will solve the issue of being stuck at the character creation or character section screen. This issue may happen randomly due to a bug, highly populated servers, or server outages. You can also wait for a while and rejoin the game to see if the glitch has been resolved on its own.
In case there’s a server-related issue, you will encounter the error codes 300202, 300008, or 316719 at the end of the character creation/selection. Players can check the server status of Diablo 4 to see if the servers are down. And if that’s the case, there is nothing you can do except wait for a short while as the devs resolve this issue.
