The best way to fix this bug is to reset the dungeon by leaving the game. Since you can’t kill these enemies your dungeon will reset when you exit the game. Do remember you will also lose the progress you made so far. But that is needed because you won’t be progressing at all otherwise. So in a way, it is better than being stuck. This bug can happen when you are in the Hell-touched Corridors of the Icehowl Ruins.

  1. Simply leave the game. You can even try restarting the game to see if it helps, but you might have to queue before you can play again.
  2. Now, start the game with the character in which you got this error.
  3. Once, it starts go to the Icehowl Ruins and eliminate every enemy you can find.
  4. This time when you fight these enemies, you should be able to kill them.

Now, go to the room where you fight the X’Fal the Scarred Baron. You should find the body of a Decapitated Priest here. If it is missing then you should go back and find more enemies to kill. Once you find it there interact with it and you should be able to complete the boss fight this time and progress the game.
