Diablo 4 Stuck In Queue, Login Issue: Is There An Offline Mode?

Stuck in the queue in Diablo IV? This is for you.

Are you stuck in a long queue in Diablo 4 and getting kicked out due to login and connection issues? You are not alone. This game has been highly anticipated since its predecessor launched a decade ago and this means, the servers will get overloaded due to the hype from players. Here’s what you need to know about this particular issue while trying to access the beta or even the final release game.

Diablo 4 Stuck in Queue Issue

If you are stuck in a long queue in Diablo IV, make sure to not leave it, or close/restart the game because that will put you right back at the end of the long wait lines and reset your timer. Now, in case the wait times are too long, try logging in during non-peak hours and see if you are able to get in.

As you can tell, this issue is happening due to peak hours in your region and because of that, the servers are unable to handle the load. As the servers became full, players started encountering login and connection issues, even leading to freezing and crashes. The team does roll out backend server hotfixes to address server stability for PC as well as console players, so you can try again after a few hours.

In the closed beta, we’ve seen wait times that cross 1.5 hours to even 2 hours. For some, the game automatically kicked them out of the queue, leading to yet another excruciatingly long wait. Blizzard has acknowledged this and shared an update that their team was working overnight on ensuring that more players get a chance to experience the beta. There is a high chance that you will see long queues during the open beta, but rest assured that Blizzard is working on fixing any bugs related to the queue.

Once these issues are resolved, more players will be able to join the open beta and the queue times will be significantly reduced.

Can you play Diablo IV Offline?

There’s no option to play Diablo 4 offline. It’s an online game and will need a consistent internet connection to progress in the game. Unfortunately, this means you will encounter disconnection, lag, or frame skips if your internet connection is slow or intermittent.

With that said, once the game is running smoothly, be sure to explore our Diablo 4 category on Gamer Tweak for everything you need to know about it. For example, here’s how to get legendaries quickly, how to leave dungeons as well as reset them, how to check renown, and more.
