Why Are Diablo 4 Queue Times So Long?

Updated Date :

Being one of the most highly anticipated games of the year, players are excited to sink their teeth into Diablo 4 but getting hit by frustratingly long queue times. If you are experiencing long wait times and errors related to logging in and connection, this is what you need to know.

How Long are Diablo 4 Queues?

diablo 4 long queue wait times

Diablo IV queues are too long due to overloaded servers and the wait times are as long as 1.5 hours to even 2 hours. If you are unfortunate to get a login error and get auto-kicked from the queue, you will be put back into a 60-minute+ queue again. The best thing to do as of now would be to wait until it’s not peak hours in your region. We tried getting into the beta in the morning (as opposed to night) and the queue times were significantly shorter (10 minutes).

Update from Blizzard

The developers have tweeted via the official @Diablo account, mentioning that they know the issues impacting the Beta early access. The team is also working on the server disconnections and errors cropping up during this time. Stay tuned to their Twitter account for any updates regarding shorter wait times.

Diablo 4 beta has seen an overwhelming response from players, which is why the game’s community manager has posted an update on the Blizzard forum. Check it out below.

Please see below an update on the situation regarding queues and some of the items the team is tracking and actively working on to resolve.

  • Players are sometimes unable to join a party with other players while in-game.
  • Players that are dropped from a game receive an error that their party does not exist.
  • Rubberbanding occurring with players while transitioning between zones.
  • High RAM and GPU usage occurring on select hardware.

Let’s hope the queue times get shorter, the servers get stabilized and players can enter the world of Diablo 4 quickly. We will be covering all about it in our Diablo IV guides section on Gamer Tweak.
