Splatoon 3 Conch Shells: How To Get & Use

Updated Date :

Splatoon 3 features a wide range of resources and items you can collect or earn. One of these includes Conch Shells which are the newest currency and collectible in the game. These currencies are exclusive to the Splatfest weekend events. But getting and using them can be a bit confusing. So, check out our guide on how to get and use Conch shells in Splatoon 3.

How to Get Conch Shells in Splatoon 3

You can get a Conch shell every time you level up or increase your catalog level. But before that, you need to unlock the ability to earn them. As the Sneak Peek begins, search for a T-shirt stand or counter. Over there, choose or pledge to one out of three teams to earn Conch Shells during the Splatfest events.

Now, you need to play multiplayer modes like Salmon Run or PvP battles like Turf war to increase your Catalog level. You will earn the Conch shells every time you level up. For the first day wins, you can earn more bonus XP to your Catalog level. This can help you get more Conch Shells. If you are having trouble leveling up, you can also check out our guide on how to level up fast.

What are Conch Shells Used for

Conch shells are limited currencies that are used for two main reasons. It is used during the Splatfest events to tally which team has the most shells. The team that has the most shells wins the Splatfest. On the other side, Conch shells are also used to purchase several items at a unique merchant. But once the Splatfest events are finished, these earned Shells also disappear. So, make sure to use them all before the event ends.

Once you have collected enough shells, head over to the Lobby to find Shell-out Machine. You can use the Cash or Conch shells to purchase several in-game items and resources.
