How To Carry Metal In A Lightning Storm In Lethal Company

Published Date :

In Lethal Company, the latest surprise comes in the form of a lightning storm that can instantly put a stop to your survival if you carry metal. Just when you think things couldn’t get any worse, a new challenge always spawns in the game as a surprise. All praise to Zeekerss, who has done a great job of incorporating realistic physics into the game, which has further enhanced the gaming experience in a scary way.

Just like in the real world, carrying metal in a lightning storm significantly reduces your chances of survival in the game, and if you can’t meet your daily quota, your survival chances go for a toss. So, taking risks to make cash is part of the game. If you’re constantly facing lightning storms and need to get the metals to the ship, we’ve created a survival guide for you.

In Lethal Company, try to avoid Moons with lightning storms at all costs. This is the best advice we can give you. Always watch out for the weather condition of the Moon you are landing and if it’s dominated by storms, choose another Moon for a safe endeavor.

However, if you’re feeling brave and want to carry metals in a lightning storm, there is another way to ensure your survival. Follow these steps:

  • Watch for the static charge buildup alert on your screen, and simultaneously the metal item you’re holding will start zapping with electric sparks. If you see this, drop whatever you’re carrying and bounce back immediately.
  • You’ll see the lightning strikes on the metal you dropped, but at least it’s not you getting zapped!
  • Once the metal has been struck, you can pick it up and start sprinting again until you see another static buildup on the metal.
  • Repeat these steps until you reach the ship.

This way, you can carry the metal to the ship. But be warned, running through a lightning storm is like playing roulette – there’s no guarantee you’ll survive!

It’s also worth noting that you can only carry one item at a time using this method. However, with good team coordination, everyone can safely take the metals to the ship without the need for a walkie-talkie as it can pose a threat in a lightning storm.

That’s all we have from this guide. If you are confused on the different team roles in the game, here are some tips and tricks. For more detailed guides, Gamer Tweak has an entire Lethal Company section for you.
