While exploring the different planets and systems of Starfield, you might wonder what faction is best for you to join. This is an important question because each of these groups has certain control over various systems. So siding with one means being able to have the advantages of it. But does that also mean you end up making enemies with the others in the process? The answer isn’t exactly that simple, so here are all the factions and how you can join the best one.
Which Faction Should I Join in Starfield?
The best faction that you should join first is Crimson Fleet, but you should join them all. Although before you go ahead and join it here is something that you should know about all the factions in the game.
There are a total of 12 factions in this game, out of them you can only join 5 which are:
- Constellation
- Crimson Fleet
- Freestar Collective
- Ryujin Industries
- United Colonies (UC Vanguard)
The other 7 are there to impact the storylines and different missions of the game but you can’t join them. You join the Constellation automatically after your first mission. As for the other 4 factions, you will have to go out of your way to be a part of them.
The best part of joining all factions is being able to get all faction missions. The more faction missions you complete the more money you can earn. The only downside of joining multiple factions is one may see you as enemy if there is conflict happening between the two.
Why Crimson Fleet is the Best Faction?
The biggest advantage of joining the Crimson fleet is the pay from its faction missions. Some of the missions give you as high as 6K Credits. To join them:
- Commit any minor crime like stealing.
- Next, go to any planet under UC jurisdiction.
- Here the security will come to arrest you. Get arrested.
- Talk to Commander Ikande and complete the mission Deep Cover.
- Next, talk to Saoirse Bowden she will send you to Adler Kemp.
- Talk to him and complete his mission.
- Adler will then introduce you to Naeva Mora.
- Complete her set of missions and you will be a part of the Crimson Fleet.
