How to Beat Quincey the Bandit King in V Rising
You can defeat Quincey the Bandit King in V Rising by first eliminating his minions and then attacking him. Dodge its moves and time your attacks to chip away his health. Once his health bar reaches 0 you can press F to extract his Blood. Below are the moves it uses in the fight and how to dodge them.
- Charge attack: You will see Quincey charge up and do a quick dash. You can dodge this attack by getting away from him and waiting for his charge to complete. The moment he begins his dash, get out of his way by moving to either side. The dash is in a straight line so once he begins running he won’t change direction mid dash.
- Ground attack: Quincey will use his shield and attack the ground in the player’s direction. The ground will have several different cracks that spread ahead. He unleashes three or four energies that traverse the ground and spread outwards. Once they reach their limit, after a few seconds the ground will explode from the lines traced by these energies. You can easily avoid them by running to either side. The attack takes place in a V-like area in front of Quincey, so once you get to either side you should be safe.
- Reflective Shield: This is quite easy to dodge as you simply don’t have to attack it when its shield is up. Because if you do, it blocks all melee attacks and reflects back any projectile attacks that you do. So while this move is very dangerous, doing nothing is its best counter.
- Triple charge attack: This move is exactly the same as a charge attack, but this time thrice. You will see Quincey glow red and yell then he will charge dash at you thrice. You can dodge this attack the same way you dodge the Charge Attack. After you dodge all three of them you will see he gets stunned after the third dash. This is your cue to go and spam attacks on him.
Once you keep the above moves in mind and attack him accordingly you should have no problem eliminating him.
