Out of all the endings, Ayre is an endgame boss in Armored Core 6 you can fight at the end of the Main Mission 40, Chapter 5. While this ending depends on your decisions, she won’t be an easy final boss to take down. But once you defeat Ayre, you will complete Chapter 5 and one of the endings. But as players battle against this pesky Mech, they are unable to withstand her aggressive series of attacks. So, check out our boss guide on how to beat Ayre in AC6 Fires of Rubicon.
How to Beat Ayre in Armored Core 6 (Boss Fight)
You can beat the Ayre in AC6 once you have equipped a fitting build to defeat her. Though this boss fight will be quite fast-paced, destroy her shields to lower defenses. To defeat this Mech, you need a strategy with the right build and analyze her attacking patterns.
So, here’s a strategy and some tips for beating Ayre in Armored Core 6:
Use Gatling Guns & Stay Close
Starting with the boss fight, you must be close to Ayre while continuously attacking her. Our goal here is to break down her shields. Even though Gatling guns can stun her down temporarily, Ayre can deflect these attacks from a distance. But on the other hand, dual-wielding Gatling guns and attacking her can deal massive damage if you are close. You can keep on using the Boosts for flying and attacking her in close-range combat. This will force her to put her guard down as well as the shields. At this point, you can attack her with both the Shoulder weapons for more damage output at close range.
Lock & Keep Tracking Ayre
To not lose sight of Ayre in Armored Core 6, we suggest hard-locking onto her as soon as the fight starts. While the first phase will be relatively easier, her attacks will be much faster and deal you more damage in the second phase. As the fight progresses, she will use maneuverability and try to dodge your attacks. You can use the Spread Bazooka which has an Attack power of 1360 during close-range combat. But note that when doing so, attacking her close will deal more damage. Since Ayre’s minions can also appear in the boss fight, the Spread Bazooka could be a great way to crowd control.
Use Boosts & Melee Attacks
When you are dealing damage to Ayre, don’t forget to use melee attacks to stagger her. But as soon as she attacks you, we recommend using the Boosts or Boost Kick to evade her attacks. With your tanky build, be aggressive, and don’t give her any scope for openings or to attack.
