Armored Core 6: How To Boost Kick In AC6

Updated Date :

One of the most basic parts of attacking in AC6 is staggering your enemies. And if you are unaware of the Boost Kick, it’s one of the best when it comes down to that in Armored Core 6. While players will have to spend some time in the game before they can unlock it, the Assault Boost Kick is one of the most useful mechanisms in AC6. With this guide, you can check out all you need to do to unlock and use the Boost Kick in the game.

Players need to clear Chapter 1 till they reach the Arena. Once you reach that location, you will be able to use the OS Tuning option of AC6. In order to unlock Boost Kick in Armored Core 6, you will have to spend one OS Tuning Chip and unlock the kick mechanism for your mech. Additionally, you don’t have to equip this move separately since it gets directly added to your move set. Since you won’t have to spend any ammo while using the Boost Kick, it’s absolutely vital that you learn to use this move quickly.

How to Use Boost Kick in AC6

While unlocking Boost Kick is one thing, properly using it against your enemy is another. Boost Kick is one of those mechanisms where you will need the hard lock on your enemy. However, it’s quite effective if you are looking to get them staggered. In order to use Boost Kick in Armored Core 6, activate the Assault Boost by pressing L3 towards your target and then hit another L3 when you reach the target to perform the kick. While it sounds easy right now, timing will be of crucial importance.

Additionally, do note that the legs of each mech will differ so you might see a variety of Boost Kick with different ACs in the game.
