Withers Wardrobe of Wayward Friends is located in your camp. If you are unable to see it update your game and check again. It is an antic-looking wardrobe placed in the camp that can be used to summon offline friends. It is an extremely useful item in BG3 because it helps you to put your Co-op friend in sleep mode.
It means it is not necessary to completely eliminate a party member. If the friend in any Co-op mission is offline just send them to camp and done. Their avatar remains stored in Withers Wardrobe of Wayward Friends. You can access it anytime and call them back. Here are detailed steps on how to use Withers Wardrobe of Wayward Friends.
Dismiss Avatar BG3:
- Select your friend’s Avatar and choose option 1. Dismiss them to your camp.
- Then go to your campsite, and interact with the wardrobe.
- Select your friend’s avatar, right-click > drop.
Your Co-op friend will be back in the game. In this way, you can dismiss all your party members in the Co-op mission and continue playing. Here is a video by YouTube JibunFade that shows how Withers’s Wardrobe of Wayward Friends works.
You can also speak to Withers in the camp who can help you with more options. You can respec classes and abilities, or summon Hirelings for 100 gold pieces. Withers Wardrobe of Wayward Friends is a part of the recent game patch. If you are not able to see this item in the game do update it once and check back.
