The Triceratops comes with a special passive trait called Tri‑Horn. Every 3 minutes and 33 seconds, it charges into three random plants, instantly advancing each of their growth by 33 minutes and 33 seconds.

Additionally, there’s a 15.18% chance the ability triggers again immediately, allowing multiple stacks in a single activation. This makes it especially valuable for players who want automated growth boosts while offline.

    How to Obtain It

    dinosaur egg for Triceratops

You can obtain the Triceratops in two main ways during the Prehistoric update:

    1. Dinosaur Egg – There is a 32.5% chance of hatching a Triceratops from this type of egg.
    2. DNA Converter – Available at the center of the map during the Prehistoric event.

Here are the chances of getting certain dinosaurs from the egg, and since Triceratops is a higher %, you have a good chance of obtaining it from fewer eggs.

     Pet Chance
    Raptor 35%
    Triceratops 32.50%
    Stegosaurus 28%
    Pterodactyl 3%
    Brontosaurus 1%
    T-Rex 0.50%

The Tri‑Horn passive makes the Triceratops one of the few pets with a repeating-trigger ability, making it quite reliable.

    Is it Worth it?

Yes, the Triceratops stands out as a legendary pet with a cute look and useful ability. Its passive that repeatedly boosts crop growth makes it ideal for players focused on optimizing garden yields, especially if they have slow-growing crops. If you’re participating in the Prehistoric Event, securing a Triceratops can significantly speed up your farming progress.
