Wasn’t sure where Palworld was headed next? Pocketpair’s new roadmap reveals plans for not just bug fixes but also the potential for several new features!

The monster-catching survival game by Pocketpair was a huge success and caught many players off guard. Despite still being in early access and breaking several records, there are still some things in the game that can be improved and bugs that need to be fixed. But the good news is the developers have not only acknowledged that but also have various plans for the game. So here is Palworld’s roadmap highlighting their upcoming features and new content that you can expect in terms of PvP, PvE, Raid bosses, and more.

To begin with, the developers will be focusing on fixing many of the critical and game-breaking bugs present in Palworld. You can check out their tweet right here. Here are the things they will be prioritizing initially:

  • Addressing Critical Issues
    • Currently, numerous bugs have been identified, and we are prioritizing fixing those.
    • Sometimes, the world date may experience rollbacks.
    • The loading screen may persist when trying to load into worlds.
    • …and so on.
  • Improvements to Implement ASAP
    • Key configuration improvements.
    • Improvements to base Pal AI and pathing.”

Palworld Upcoming Features for Future

Below are the upcoming features and my speculation on how they may work, so they may not be exactly the same or even completely different when they are released.

  • PvP: It will be interesting to see what PvP has to offer. Hopefully, it won’t be something very ruthless that would make you disable PvP, just like players had to turn off raids.
  • Raid Bosses: Raid Bosses are something to look forward to as the Pals found here could be special. They could have the best stats and passive skills, or may even be Lucky versions of their regular counterparts.
  • Pal Arena (PvP for Pals): This sounds something similar to Pokemon battles. But considering there are 139 Pals in the Paldeck, we are yet to see how this feature would turn out. Especially if they get to fight with or without guns.
  • Steam-Xbox Crossplay: This feature explains itself, currently only Steam players can play with each other, and the same is true for Xbox. So this feature will make playing with your friends even easier no matter if they have the game on Game Pass or their platform.
  • Various Xbox Feature Improvements: There are also quite a lot of differences between the Steam and Xbox versions of the game. So this will work for the best for people playing the game on their Xbox console or those who play on PC via Game Pass.
  • Server Transfers and Migrations: This can improve connection issues by a lot.
  • Improvements to the Building System: This is probably the feature update they should start with because currently, it needs to improve the most. There have been too many times when the foundation doesn’t get placed on the ground or walls don’t count as support, along with other problems.
  • New islands, Pals, Bosses, and Technologies: The first three could mostly be added in the form of some DLC(s). However, the developers may add Technologies to the current version of the game to see how they would work.

That is all for Palworld’s current Roadmap, hopefully, we can get some dates on when the above features will drop as that will make waiting for them even better!
