How To Unlock Explorer In Remnant 2 & Get Treasure Hunter

Published Date :

If looting is your thing, then you should unlock the Explorer Archetype in Remnant 2. This game has plenty of classes that you can play as. At the start, you will only be aware of the 5 you get to choose from. But as you keep playing you will unlock more Archetypes like Engineer, Invader, Summoner, Archon, and more.

Since every class isn’t created equally, so isn’t their unlock method. But when it comes to Explorer, things are quite straightforward. The best part is, once you reach level 10, you unlock one of the best and most useful skills in the game. So here is how you can get the Explorer class in Remnant 2 and how the Treasure Hunter skill works.

Unlock Explorer Archetype in Remnant 2 & Use Treasure Hunter

To unlock the Explorer Archetype you have to beat the game and get the Broken Compass. This is the crafting material you need for the Golden Compass. Here is how the unlocking process works:

  1. Start the game as any Archetype of your choice.
  2. Go to Root Earth and defeat Annihilation. This is the final location in the game and with it you will complete the main story.
  3. Now, you will get the Broken Compass.
  4. Go to Wallace at the docks of Ward 13.
  5. Give him the Broken Compass along with 10x Lumenite Crystals and 1000x Scrap.
  6. Using it you can craft the Golden Compass Engram which will unlock the Explorer class for you.

How to Get Hero’s Sword & Treasure Hunter Skill

When you start a new character as the Explorer class, you get the Realmwalker armor set and the following weapons:

  • Ford’s Scattergun
  • Hero’s Sword
  • Repeater Pistol

As for the Treasure Hunter or the Fortune Hunter skill, you need to make your character reach level 10 to unlock it. Using it increases your character’s treasure sense. This allows you to reveal special items for yourself and your allies within a range of 40m. The effect lasts for 60 seconds and has a cooldown of 88.2 seconds.

That’s all you need to do to unlock the Explorer class & Treasure Hunter skill in Remnant 2. Be sure to also check out our guide on how to change Archetypes. And for more on this game, head over to our Remnant 2 section.
