What to Do With Unalloyed Gold Needle in Elden Ring
You can give the Unalloyed Gold Needle to Millicent to cure her of the Scarlet Rot in Elden Ring. This would enable and trigger Millicent’s questline. So, follow the below steps:
- You have to give it to Gowry at Gowry’s Shack for him to repair the Unalloyed Gold Needle.
- Once you give it to him, he will give you Sellia’s Secret in return for the exchange and ask you to wait for some time.
- You can head over to the Site of Grace to Pass the time. Or you can scavenge around the region for some weapons and incantation spells.
- After spending some time, return to Gowry and interact with him.
- Gowry will return the repaired Unalloyed Gold Needle and ask you to give it to Millicent. You can find the Millicent at Church of the Plague in Caelid.
- Interact with her to give the Unalloyed Gold Needle to her. Then, you can rest at the Church of the Plague Site of Grace.
- Now, you will find Millicent standing in a good shape rather than being stricken with the Scarlet Rot.
- She will reward you with the Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom as a reward for curing her.
- Having said that, you can get the Unalloyed Gold Needle later as you progress with Millicent’s questline.
- You need to help Millicent take down four of her sisters to get the Unalloyed Gold Needle. Along with that, she also rewards you with Rotten Winged Insignia.
Once you have completed this questline, you can get the Miquella’s Needle by returning it to Scarlet Aoenia, Goddess of Rot. You can do so after defeating the final boss Malenia, the Blade of Miquella. As mentioned earlier, this will change the bad ending, Flame of Frenzy.
