One of the first areas where many players are getting stuck in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, is the cold sky island above Central Hyrule Archipelago and they need a fix for it. This is quite early in the game so you don’t have your Paraglider yet. So this might frighten some players to restart the game from the beginning. But worry not you won’t have to take these extreme steps. Here is how you can easily solve this error.
Stuck on Central Hyrule Sky Archipelago in Zelda TOTK Fix
You need to jump on the small pond below that you can find on the southern side of this island to get off of here. This is the main fix to this problem, but you can also try reloading an older save file. Here is how both these solutions work:
- Jumping on the Small Pond: Water bodies in this game negates fall damage. These are especially useful when you don’t have the paraglider in the early game. Or if you run out of stamina while using one. In the Island with the Flux Construct, go south. Look for a small pond below, check the map image below. Jump off the island and dive straight into the pond. Once you land here you will survive and can progress normally.
- Reload your save: While not the most optimal solution but one that works equally if not better in some ways. Press the “+” button on your Joycons or Switch Pro controller. Press R and go to the last option which is Settings. Go to Load and look for a save file where you aren’t on this island or platform. Reload this save and come back here after you are better prepared to take the Flux Construct down.
What to do when Stuck on Sky Islands?
Since the above issue arises during the tutorial areas of the game, you don’t have the paraglider yet. And the option to fast travel also isn’t available then. But that is not the problem later on after you complete The Closed Doors quest. So if you get stuck on any sky island, simply open your map and fast-travel to any Shrine, Skyview Tower, or Temple that you like.
That’s all you need to do to fix the Stuck on Cold Sky Island in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. If the sky islands weren’t as fun to explore, you should try going to the Depths to get the Majora’s Mask.
