Where To Store Items In Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3)

Published Date :

Wondering where to store your items instead of dragging them everywhere and making them drastically heavy for you in Baldur’s Gate 3? Players will come across all sorts of items from normal to magical to even very confusing ones in the DnD universe. With its full release, players will be able to explore the Forgotten Realms even further in BG3. However, early access players may be familiar with the overall length of just Act 1 lasting longer than a usual campaign. Players would have come across many items in the wilderness. And there will be even more to find in the last two acts of the game. And as the items will need some space in your inventory and to not make your character intentionally heavy, here is how you can store your items in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Players can store their items in the Traveller’s Chest available at the camp in Baldur’s Gate 3. You can use the ALT key to make it easier to spot the chest around the southwest part. Once you find an item that you think might be useful or you just don’t its benefits yet, you can either store it manually by interacting with the chest or by using the Send To Camp option in BG3. Players can use the Fast Travel mechanic to head toward camp. Here are the steps you can follow to use the Send To Camp option directly:

  • Open up your inventory by pressing I on your keyboard.
  • Here, select the item you want to store in the game.
  • Click on the item and you will see the Send To Camp option.
  • Select it and your item will be stored in the Traveller’s Chest in Baldur’s Gate 3.

There is no limit to how many items you or your companions can store in this chest. However, to retrieve the item, players will have to head back to the camp. After which interact with the chest in BG3 and you will able to equip it in your inventory.
